Bird of Prey photography

My favourite shots from a Bird of Prey photography experience, run by Hawkwise Falconry, that my wife bought for me as a Christmas present.  I went on the 8th January 2012 and had an excellent few hours at Bosworth Battlefield, near Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.  The group photographed two owls and two hawks.  Starting with the slowest up to the fastest and most challenging to shoot they were placed on a perch and then flown from point to point to be photographed.  There was little technical tuition on the day but the hosts were obviously experienced at running the sessions.  They do also run a separate day when a professional photographer is present.
