Bonfire Night – Take One – 2nd November 2012

As part of the press module that I am doing for my HNC I am taking images to cover bonfire night.  Below is a sample of the images that I took at a party on Friday 2nd November.  Admittedly these images will probably not make it into the final project because they don’t show any faces.  But I thought i’d post some online to show what i’ve been up to.  It was a challenging shoot because of the sharp contrasts of dark and light.  It was very good practice for flash photography and i’ve still got a fair bit to learn as i’ve done a fair bit of exposure adjustment on what i’ve taken.  I have another bonfire party to go to on Monday night so i’m hoping to take what i’ve learnt and take some better images.
